An introduction:
Accelerate Abroad is a consultancy firm founded by Pieter Sprinkhuizen who spent the last 20 years of his professional life focusing on international business. Pieter had various international executive roles during which he was able to view the internationalization process from multiple angles. From managing a distribution network to being a distributor, from sales & marketing to operations to general management and from establishing and running a foreign office to being on the other side of the table at a corporate HQ.
Mission:
Accelerate Abroad's mission is to assist organizations in their international expansion activities. No matter which phase the international expansion process is in, from making plans to having an established international network, assuring a structured approach and organizational alignment is essential for long term success.
Motivation:
The international expansion process should be a collective effort but most often is not. In many cases it is business development focused without sufficient attention for the international organization. This results in friction and loss of efficiency.
Approach:
People work with people. From winning a project across the border to passing the order down to the company to supporting that customer to assure customer success, there are always people involved. At Accelerate Abroad, everything is done with the aim of not only building business but also building positive relationships, both internal and external.
